The Community Advisory Committee (CAC) was established to advise Clean Energy Alliance’s (CEA) Board of Directors, as directed. The CAC provides feedback on CEA programs and implementation, acts as a liaison between the board and the community and serves as a forum for community input.
The CAC shall consist of two appointees from each CEA member agency. Members shall serve staggered two-year terms; however, during the inaugural year, one appointee from each member agency shall serve a one-year term to establish the staggered appointment cycle. CAC members must be residents or business owners within the CEA service territory.
Individuals are encouraged to apply for board, commission, and committee positions even when no current vacancies exist. Eligible applications will be retained for consideration for one year from the date received. Appointments to the CAC, boards, commissions, and committees are made by the CEA Board of Directors as vacancies occur.
The CAC was approved at the October 15, 2020 Board of Directors Meeting.
