Clean Energy Alliance (CEA) is excited to introduce two new customer programs — Battery Bonus Connect and Solar Plus Connect — designed to bring clean energy solutions to income-qualified households. Funded by limited-time state incentives, these programs offer deeply discounted solar and battery systems to help residents lower their electricity bills and boost energy resilience.
Available to income-eligible homeowners within CEA’s service area — including those enrolled in the California Alternate Rates for Energy (CARE) program — both programs reflect CEA’s ongoing commitment to energy equity and a clean energy future. Funding is limited, so early application is encouraged.
“These programs make clean, affordable energy more accessible to those who need it most,” said Greg Wade, Chief Executive Officer of CEA. “Qualifying customers can reduce their monthly costs while gaining greater control over their energy use and ensuring they have backup power during any outages.”
Program Details:
- Battery Bonus Connect: Offers no-cost home battery installations for eligible households with existing solar systems. These batteries help reduce reliance on the power grid and provide critical backup power during outages.
- Solar Plus Connect: Delivers affordable solar panel and battery system installations to qualified customers, financed directly on their electricity bills and supporting both lower energy costs and grid resiliency.
CEA has partnered with two trusted partners, Haven Energy and Participate.Energy, to implement the Battery Bonus Connect and Solar Plus Connect programs, respectively. Both programs are funded through the state’s Self-Generation Incentive Program (SGIP).
Eligible customers can learn more and apply online on CEA’s website.
