Clean Energy Alliance (CEA) is pleased to announce the addition of six new staff members, a change that enhances the organization’s capabilities and reinforces its commitment to providing sustainable, clean energy solutions. The new team members bring a wealth of experience and expertise, positioning CEA for continued success in its mission to provide choice and increased renewable energy options to North County.

Greg Wade, Chief Executive Officer

Greg Wade, CEA’s newly appointed CEO, brings a rich background in municipal management to the organization, having previously served as the City Manager for the City of Solana Beach. During his tenure, he was a key player in the launch of the Solana Energy Alliance, San Diego County’s first community choice aggregation program (CCA).

Greg was selected for the CEO position from over 50 applicants, and his appointment was unanimously approved by CEA’s Board of Directors in September of 2023. His extensive experience in public administration and effective leadership will be instrumental in guiding CEA through its next phase of growth.

Kaylin McCauley, Board Secretary/Admin Assistant

Kaylin McCauley joins CEA with a robust background in municipal governance, having served as Deputy City Clerk, Senior Office Specialist, and Administrative Assistant for the City of Carlsbad.

As CEA’s Board Secretary/Admin Assistant, Kaylin’s responsibilities include managing monthly Board and bimonthly Community Advisory Committee meetings, handling agendas, minutes, and logistics. She will also play a vital role in facilitating the relationship between the CEO and Board, ensuring compliance with meeting procedures and communication requirements, overseeing Form 700 filings, and providing general administrative support.

Rob Howard, Key Accounts/Program Manager

Rob Howard, CEO of Zodiac Solutions, LLC, brings a wealth of energy consulting experience, coupled with his background as a former control operator for Southern California Edison, to his role as a key accounts/program manager.

This role will entail oversight of comprehensive programs for residential and non-residential customer engagement and solutions. Currently, Rob is leading CEA’s rollout in the City of Oceanside by building relationships with community groups and educating the public about the role of CCAs.

As key accounts/program manager, Rob will focus on educating customers on reducing electric use, promoting CEA programs including Solar Plus, vehicle electrification, maintaining positive relationships with major energy users, and collaborating on communication strategies. He will also serve as a main point of contact for customer issue resolution.

Kaitlin McGee, Key Accounts/Program Manager

With previous roles at California ISO, Pico Rivera Innovative Municipal Energy (PRIME), and San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, Kaitlin McGee adds depth to the team with her expertise in stakeholder engagement and sustainability.

Kaitlin is leveraging her extensive industry knowledge by spearheading CEA’s expansion into the City of Vista. She is acting as a community representative, partnering with local partners and city representatives to ensure that the transition proceeds smoothly.

As key accounts/program manager, Kaitlin, like Rob, will also focus on educating customers on reducing electric use, promoting CEA programs like Solar Plus, vehicle electrification, maintaining positive relationships with major energy users, and collaborating on communication strategies. She will also serve as a main point of contact for customer issue resolution.

Emily Fabick, Regulatory Analyst

Emily Fabick joins CEA with background as a Regulatory Case Manager at San Diego Gas & Electric. As CEA’s regulatory analyst, Emily will serve as an advocate for clean energy rules, rates, policies, and programs, representing CEA before regulatory agencies and contributing to the development of policies to advance the organization.

Dan Peckham, Power Procurement Manager

Dan Peckham brings pivotal experience from his previous roles at Ernst & Young Infrastructure Advisors, LLC, Ceres, Inc., and the New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission (NEIWPCC). As the Power Procurement Manager, Dan will play a crucial role in guiding CEA’s transition to a sustainable, long-term clean energy provider by overseeing wholesale power supply and procurement activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing complex energy transactions.
