Carlsbad, CA — The Clean Energy Alliance is accepting applications from City of Carlsbad residents and business owners to serve on the Community Advisory Committee (CAC) for a term through 2025. Applications will be accepted until January 31, 2023.
CEA established the CAC to advise and assist the Board of Directors in implementing and operating its Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) program. The CAC offers feedback on CEA programs, acts as a liaison between the Board and the community, and serves as a forum for community engagement.
The CAC consists of two appointees from each CEA member agency with oversight from a Board Representative acting as Committee Chair. Committee members serve staggered three-year terms with a two-term limit. Board Members will nominate two applicants from their respective communities to the full Board for approval.
“The CAC works collaboratively to ensure the smooth operation of our CCA programs,” said Carlsbad Board Member Priya Bhat-Patel. “Serving on the CAC is a wonderful opportunity to engage closely with and better your community, while promoting the use of renewable energy.”
